It took me before I really decided to do it and start my own internet business. It seems always a good idea but I delay, negative thinking it won’t work! What surprised me, I found that there were many benefits to having an internet business.
1. The cost of running your business is significantly reduced. With an internet-based business you don’t need to pay rent for the location or pay utility bill. No need for office supplies and no transportation costs. You might not have to pay personnel if you decide to manage your own business. I found that internet business is a great way to keep the costs down.
2. The world is your market. With your local business limited to customers in your area only, unless your business is large enough to set up branches in different locations. Take your business to the web help you target various states or countries that increase customers to whom you can sell your product or service. This means that you can really go global with your business!
3. Flexible working hours. This is what I like most of the internet business, I can work when I want. I can reach my customers anytime day or night and answer emails at 2:00 a.m. Also think about this, when you sleep someone buy your product. No need to wake up to open your door to the public because your door is open 24 hours a day on the internet. Make money when you sleep!
4. Potential growth. Internet business makes it easy to add new products or features to your website, practically at no extra cost. For example if your business sells women’s shoes, it’s easy to add women’s bags and other accessories to your website. Another example I see is a website that sells various fashion items but has added vehicle parts and classified ads. Of course new products and features mean more customers will be interested in your new website.
